Right? Even just going out to pick that corn was a whole trip. [ No grocery stores, we steal produce like men. ] Then there was shaping all the wires, gluing it together without letting any of Mabel's sequins land in it... total effort. But speaking as a guy who had to live as a pig for a day once, I gotta respect why he went for it.

No worries. That was a pretty lowkey day for me. [ Who hasn't sometimes switched bodies with a pig for a day and almost been eaten or whatever in this town? Not many these days. It's good to see Stan giving this the old college try and the old fondness of nostalgia.

Man, does it count as nostalgia to remember it again for the first time? Inquiring minds want to know, and they'll probably ask Dipper about it later. ]

The sequins gave it charm. A majestic magical corn creature probably needs a little sparkle. Haha, plus it was way too late to pick 'em back out. Those dudes were in there.

[Eh, it's nostalgia enough for Stan. He laughs right along with Soos. The memories aren't all there, but enough are starting to come back that he can reminisce a little bit.]

That curious look comes back to Stan though, like he's hoping to absorb more memories from the world around him. He glances around them at the other attractions that have been recovered.]

Arts and crafts-based powers are valid in my book, dude. They're basically the whole reason video games exist. And I mean, Mabel had to get her mad skills from someone, right?

[ Truly they could only have been passed down from Stan somehow even though I guess he's not their grandpa or whatever. They're mad skills and don't have to make sense, and Mabel and Stan are just devious enough with them when crossed that there must be a link. ]

Ha! Yeah, guess so. I think I saw her knit a sweater in one sitting earlier. In the middle of summer.

[And he can recall many, many other times he saw the same thing, which is another tiny sign of improvement for him. But...also baffling? Did she really spend the whole summer making sweaters? Is she perpetually cold or something?!]
